The most common cures for panic attacks used by sufferers are the prescribed drugs, antidepresants and anti-anxiety drugs. They work perfectly fine for removing the symptoms of anxiety attacks and stop them for a period of time. The main issue with using them all the time is that they don’t solve the main problem that caused them in the first place.

Panic attacks medications are often responsible for causing addiction and in some cases it make worse the symptoms of panic disorder. Some persons find themselves in the difficult position of having to take the medication everyday otherwise the panic attacks may come back with much stronger symptoms than they had experienced before.

Even though it may seem an easy solution, at first, to cure panic with prescribed medication, the truth is that the long term side effects can harm you and numerous studies have shown that they do not work solely. Though, they have a good outcome in combination with therapy for chronic sufferers.

The natural cures for panic attacks use mainly herbal remedies such as Valerian and St John Wort’s. They are effective in mild panic and anxiety issues, especially as the help you to sleep, but they are not effective alone.

One of the best ways to stop panic attacks is the cognitive behavioral therapy. The fact that it deals with your behavior and with your thinking which are the main causes of panic issues, speaks for themselves. By any means they are not a quick fix and it does take time to show results.

Being a sufferer of panic issues I did struggle to stop them and I did the mistake of taking panic medications which they work wonderfully until I stop them. I’ve learn the hard way that you can not rely on them totally so I was looking for other cures for panic attacks.
